I created this YouTube Channel to share my experience with losing 70 lbs in 8 months on a whole food plant based diet. I came across Dr. Mcdougall and the Starch Solution in May of 2020 and was able to do a deep dive to learn about plant based living and plant based weight loss. It has changed my whole life! By learning about calorie density, I was able to use plants to lose the excess weight, fix my hormones, heal my body and am now living my most healthy life. I was able to this with a full plate, never feeling hungry or dissatisfied. I created this channel to share tips, tricks, and recipes that I wish I could have found when I was just starting my journey.

Recipes from today’s video:
Zucchini Tropical Oats: (Makes a large amount- I always like to have extra)
2 zucchini’s shredded
2 cups old fashioned oat meal
4 cups water (add one more if you desire a thinner consistency)
Coconut extract to personal taste
2 Frozen Bananas
Any other fruits you like, I did mango, pineapple, and kiwi
Place zucchini and oats and water in pot and cook until desired consistency. Add a couple of drops of coconut extract. While cooking put in the frozen bananas and let them melt down. Once cooked to your liking, top with any fresh or frozen fruit you like and sprinkle on some flax seed if you like that.
Steamed Potatoes and Fresh Salad
Steam Potatoes on the stove or in your insta pot (I use this: https://amzn.to/38Du7HK) until fork tender. For the salad, place any fresh veggies or fruits you desire and toss with lemon/lime juice for a yummy dressing or my new favorite thing is peach balsamic vinegar.
